About this race

The St Andrew's AC 10k is a road race through the village of Ashbourne in County Meath, organised by St Andrew's AC, with the event headquarters at Donaghmore Ashbourne GAA Clubhouse. The route map shows two laps of the same village circuit used for the 5k, taking in Castle Street and a section along Archerstown Road, with the course mixing main roads and smaller residential streets and paths. The profile is gently rolling, with a few short, mild rises and falls on each lap rather than any sustained hills. Local support is plentiful along the way, and the race starts at 10am alongside the 5k. The club welcomes runners of all abilities. All finishers receive a medal, and there are prizes for the top three male and female finishers in each distance, making it a friendly and well-supported local event.
