About this race
Santa Dash Dublin 10km takes place over two laps of a flat, chip-timed course inside St Anne's Park in Clontarf, on Dublin's northside coast. The route stays entirely within the park, on paved paths rather than roads, making it accessible to a wide range of runners despite the longer distance. With no significant hills, the flat parkland setting means the profile stays consistent across both laps, giving faster entrants a genuine shot at being crowned the "fastest Santa." Every participant wears a full Santa suit for the event, restricted to those aged 16 and over given the distance. Finishers pass back through the event village near the start after each lap, with a grotto visit and present for children taking part in the shorter races nearby. Set among the mature trees and open lawns of one of Dublin's largest parks, it's a festive, family-friendly step up from the 5km option.
