About this race
The April Banks Remembrance 5K takes place in Saint Anne's Park, Raheny, on the north side of Dublin. The route is a loop of about 2.4 km that is run twice. From the start on the east side of the park near All Saints Road, runners follow a path north-west to the park's northern corner, then head south-west along a path towards Oak Walk. The route then continues west along the northern edge of the playing pitches, turns south along the western boundary, and returns east along the full length of Main Avenue to the start area. The course is on park paths and roads within the park, about half of it paved, and the profile is flat with only gentle rises and falls on each lap.
