About this race
The Rathcoffey GAA 5k starts and finishes at Rathcoffey GAA in County Kildare and is run on the roads around the village on an AAI-measured course. From the club, the route leaves the grounds heading north to meet the road, then turns east to a junction. From there it follows a long, straight road south-west to a turnaround point and returns along the same road to the junction, before retracing the opening section to the finish at the GAA. The course is predominantly on paved roads and is gently undulating, with one short rise near the turnaround. There is a single water station on the course and the event is organised by Rathcoffey GAA with registration and timing by Pop Up Races. Both races start from the GAA, where parking and a bag drop are available.
