About this race
The Remembrance Run 5k follows a scenic, mostly flat loop through Phoenix Park, starting on Chesterfield Avenue and passing through the wooded Furry Glen. This inclusive run or walk is a reflective event dedicated to honoring loved ones who have passed away, featuring a "Wall of Remembrance" for personal tributes. The paved route is often lined with choirs and music, creating a calm, commemorative atmosphere across the park’s natural landscape
Course profile & record eligibility
World Athletics record-eligibility rules cap net elevation loss at 1m per km of race distance, and require the start and finish to be no more than 50% of the race distance apart — both meant to stop a course gaining an unfair edge from downhill grade or a point-to-point tailwind. This is based on this course's recorded elevation and GPS data, not an official measurement or certification.
