About this race
The Ó Dubhda Challenge 20 Mile is organised by West Coast AC and takes place on Sunday 4 October 2026 in Enniscrone, County Sligo. The course starts and finishes at the Old Church on Main Street in Enniscrone and follows a longer loop through the Enniscrone and Castleconnor countryside on tarmac roads, taking runners through the scenic rural landscape of west Sligo. The route runs through the Enniscrone and surrounding townlands on quiet country roads, passing through the Kilglass area and beyond on its extended loop before returning to Enniscrone. All participants receive a specially designed top. The event is chip timed and specifically described as ideal preparation for the Dublin City Marathon, which follows four weeks later. A Half Marathon and 10k are also offered on the same morning.
