About this race
The Lusk 20 Mile is organised by Lusk Athletic Club and takes place on Saturday 3 October 2026 in Lusk, north County Dublin. The course runs on the roads in and around Lusk village and the surrounding north Dublin countryside, on a chip-timed, AAI-permitted route. The 20-mile distance is specifically designed as an ideal training run for athletes preparing for the Dublin City Marathon, which follows three weeks later. The course is on tarmac roads throughout and reflects the quiet rural character of the north Dublin coastal hinterland around Lusk. A Half Marathon and 10k are also offered on the same day. Lusk Athletic Club is one of the largest athletics clubs in Dublin, and the event draws a strong field from clubs across Leinster looking to complete a long training run in a structured, well-organised race environment.
