About this race
The Tralee 10 Mile Road Race is a road race around Tralee in County Kerry, held as part of the Tralee Marathon and Race Series. The course starts on the southern side of the town and heads out along the shore of Tralee Bay before turning inland on country roads towards Cockleshell and the Spa Road area. The route then swings north-west and loops back towards the town on a long road from the north, finishing in the centre of Tralee close to the Town Park. The course is entirely on paved roads and is largely flat with a gentle rise early on and one steady climb in the second half. The organisers say the original course will again be used and the race starts at 9:00 am.
