About this race
The Rhode AC 5k begins at Rhode Hall and concludes with a high-energy finish opposite the local primary school, which serves as the race headquarters. This scenic looped route leads participants across Rhode Bridge and onto quiet country roads before turning over Toberdaly Bridge to join the tranquil Grand Canal Greenway. Runners enjoy picturesque views of the waterway and the surrounding bogs for a refreshing stretch along the well-packed gravel path. The course is celebrated for being flat and fast, featuring a long 800m home straight that is ideal for achieving a personal best. With its smooth transition from road to trail and a vibrant village atmosphere, this event offers a professional and memorable experience for all athletes
