About this race
The LimerickRuns.ie 10 Mile is the fourth and final race in the 2026 LimerickRuns.ie Race Series, held in Castleconnell, Co. Limerick. The course follows a loop route through the scenic countryside surrounding Castleconnell, taking runners along quiet rural roads beside the River Shannon. The course features a mix of undulating terrain typical of the area, with regular marshalling and on-course support throughout. Chip timing and medals for all finishers are provided. The series is organised by JustRace Events and runners may enter this race individually or as part of the full four-race series. Post-race refreshments are available at the finish.
Course profile & record eligibility
World Athletics record-eligibility rules cap net elevation loss at 1m per km of race distance, and require the start and finish to be no more than 50% of the race distance apart — both meant to stop a course gaining an unfair edge from downhill grade or a point-to-point tailwind.
