About this race
The Marsh 5k Road Race is part of the BHAA (Business Houses Athletic Association) race series and takes place on Wednesday 24 June 2026 within Killinarden Park in Tallaght, south Dublin. The course starts and finishes near the park entrance off Killinarden Road and consists of four laps run entirely on the park's pathways. The first two laps trace the main oval circuit around the open parkland, with the Killinarden Park. The final two laps extend this same oval with an additional loop south through the section bordering Killinarden Heights, lengthening each lap before returning to the main circuit. The terrain is gently undulating throughout, with the longer laps adding a touch more climbing than the first two.
Course profile & record eligibility
World Athletics record-eligibility rules cap net elevation loss at 1m per km of race distance, and require the start and finish to be no more than 50% of the race distance apart — both meant to stop a course gaining an unfair edge from downhill grade or a point-to-point tailwind. This is based on this course's recorded elevation and GPS data, not an official measurement or certification.
