About this race
The Termonfeckin 5k is a new road race based at Termonfeckin Celtic, in the coastal County Louth village of Termonfeckin, with the inaugural running taking place in 2026. Organisers describe the course as fast and flat, suiting both serious runners chasing a quick time and those planning to walk the full distance. The race is chip timed with support from MyRunResults, giving accurate results across the field. Prizes are on offer for the top three men and women overall, as well as separate under-14 and under-16 male and female juvenile categories, making it a genuinely family-friendly event. All funds raised go towards the development of Termonfeckin Celtic, the local club hosting the race. As a first-year event, it's a fresh addition to the County Louth running calendar, set in the quiet coastal countryside north of Drogheda.
