About this race
The Kiltale GAA 10k, part of the Kiltale 5K & 10K Charity Run also known as The K10K, takes place on Saturday 18 July 2026 at 7:30pm in Kiltale, County Meath. The race starts and finishes at Kiltale GAA Club, with registration and number collection from 6pm on the evening. The course runs on the roads in and around the Kiltale area of County Meath, in the rural countryside between Trim and Navan, extending beyond the shorter 5k loop to cover the full 10k distance. The event has a strong community focus, raising funds for charity each year. The evening continues after the race with a barbecue and music at the GAA club. Plenty of on-site parking is available, and the event regularly draws a strong turnout from the local area and further afield.
Course profile & record eligibility
World Athletics record-eligibility rules cap net elevation loss at 1m per km of race distance, and require the start and finish to be no more than 50% of the race distance apart — both meant to stop a course gaining an unfair edge from downhill grade or a point-to-point tailwind.
