About this race
The Toddy Moore Memorial 10k is organised by Kilmore Athletics Club and takes place on the roads around Kilmore village in County Wexford. The race starts and finishes in the village centre, following a loop course on the quiet rural roads of the area. The course is described as good and flat, making it well suited to runners targeting competitive times or personal bests. The event is chip timed and is the club's main annual fundraiser. Named in honour of Toddy Moore, a club legend and long-serving administrator who served as Secretary of Kilmore AC for 42 years and as Chairman of Leinster Athletics, the race has strong community roots and draws a solid field from across Leinster each year.
Course profile & record eligibility
World Athletics record-eligibility rules cap net elevation loss at 1m per km of race distance, and require the start and finish to be no more than 50% of the race distance apart — both meant to stop a course gaining an unfair edge from downhill grade or a point-to-point tailwind. This is based on this course's recorded elevation and GPS data, not an official measurement or certification.
