The Boyne 5k begins at St. Oliver's N.S. on the Ballymakenny Road, heading north into the Townrath countryside. This 100% tarmac route follows a steady 2.5km outbound stretch before pivoting for the return leg. The final half of the course utilizes a gradual descent, providing a fast downward finish back toward the race hub at the school gates.
